Lend Lease/Oakmayne is Lead Developer Finalist

Oakmayne is a part of the Lend Lease consortium bidding for the Elephant & Castle lead developer. This competition is down to the final 3 and results will be announced late 2006/early 2007.

Exciting Up-Coming Developments in St Johns Wood

Oakmayne Properties are currently working on a number of exciting new developments, including The Collection in NW8. This former home of the Saatchi Gallery will comprise 15 luxury houses, four of which are already sold. In addition, Oakmayne’s new development at Embassy Court NW8 has recently gained planning permission for 25 luxury apartments, 5 of which have already sold.

Permission Given For Exciting New Regeneration Project

A £105,000 million Oakmayne plaza mixed-use regeneration project was given planning permission in March 2006 by Southwark Council and forms the first phase of Elephant & Castle’s regeneration. In accordance with Oakmayne’s long-established dedication to the revival and renewal of the area, the 458,000 sq ft mixed use scheme will provide residential, retail, commercial, hotel and leisure facilities in three new landmark towers, situated above a new retail and leisure complex. There will also be a new Covent Garden-style market square, complete with stalls for boutique retail traders.

In addition, The Wireworks won the What House? Best Interior 2005 Gold Award.
